Orders — Overview & Ordered Products
The Orders module in SellerMagnet provides a transparent and detailed overview of every transaction within your connected Amazon accounts.
It helps you understand where your profits come from, how much each sale truly costs, and how to optimize your performance.
Introduction
The Orders section displays all recent transactions from your Amazon stores, offering both an overall snapshot and a per-order breakdown. Through integrated cost tracking — including COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), ROI (Return on Investment), and profit margins — you can easily evaluate the health of your operations and make data-driven decisions.
1. Orders Overview
Each row in the Orders table represents a single Amazon order, including the following columns:
Marketplace & Fulfillment Type Displays the Amazon marketplace (e.g., Amazon DE, FR, IT) and fulfillment method:
FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) → orders shipped directly by the seller.
FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) → orders handled and shipped by Amazon.
Order ID The unique order reference number for identifying and managing specific transactions.
Product(s) Lists all items contained in the order, along with their ASINs and SKUs. Multiple items under the same order are shown as nested rows.
Unit Price & Units The price per item and total quantity ordered.
Refunded Indicates any refunds issued for the order (partial or full).
Total Displays the total value of the order (Unit Price × Units).
Profit Net earnings from the order after all costs and Amazon commissions are deducted.
ROI (Return on Investment) Measures how efficiently the order generates profit relative to its cost. Formula: (Profit ÷ Total Costs) × 100.
Margin The percentage of profit over total revenue. Formula: (Profit ÷ Net Sales Volume) × 100.

2. Cost Breakdown Panel
When you click on an order, a detailed cost panel appears on the right side of the screen. It includes all fees, commissions, and deductions automatically pulled from Amazon.
Breakdown Elements:
Sale Price (Net): The final received amount after Amazon processing.
VAT (Value Added Tax): Calculated according to marketplace tax rules.
Shipping & VAT Shipping: The total logistics cost associated with the order.
Items Cost (COGS – Cost of Goods Sold): Derived from your active batch for that SKU.
Referral Fee: The percentage Amazon charges for product category sales.
Digital Service Fee (FBM): Small Amazon processing cost for FBM sellers.
Closing Fees (Fixed or Variable): Category-based Amazon closing commissions.
Refund / Giftwrap / Shipping Commissions: Additional minor deductions.
General Expenses: Allocated business costs such as subscriptions, advertising, and utilities (imported automatically from the Expenses section).
Suggestion: Keep your batch costs up to date. Missing or outdated COGS can cause discrepancies in profit calculations.
At the bottom of the panel, SellerMagnet automatically calculates:
Net Profit: Profit after all deductions.
ROI (%): Efficiency of the order in generating returns.
Margin (%): Ratio between profit and sales volume.
3. Functionalities and Alerts
The Orders dashboard also includes key controls to navigate and refine your data:
Marketplace Filter: View results for one or multiple Amazon regions.
Timeframe Selector: Adjust reporting periods (7, 30, 90 days or custom).
Search Bar: Instantly find specific orders by ID or keyword.
Error Alerts:
Cost of Goods Missing → The batch cost has not been linked.
FBM Shipping Cost Missing → Shipping data not entered for merchant-fulfilled orders.
Important: These warnings help ensure accuracy in profitability tracking. Always resolve missing cost alerts before generating financial reports.
4. Ordered Products Overview
While the Orders view focuses on individual transactions, the Ordered Products section aggregates results by product, helping you understand which items are driving performance.
Displayed Columns:
Product: Item name, ASIN, and SKU reference.
Units Sold: Total quantity sold within the selected timeframe.
Refunds: Number or value of refunded items.
Cost of Goods (COGS): Average unit cost calculated from your batch data.
Average Net Sale Price: Mean sale price per unit after fees.
Net Sales Volume: Total revenue for the product.
Fees: Cumulative Amazon commissions.
Net Profit: Profit after all deductions (COGS + fees + general expenses).
Margin (%): The percentage ratio of net profit to total sales.
